Last Wednesday developed slight cough- PCR negative
Cough continued Thursday and Friday- LFT negative both days
Cough and fever on Saturday- LFT positive.

So do I count my 'days' from Wednesday or Saturday?

When did the cough become "continuous"?

poliif · 27/01/2022 08:44

I personally think Wednesday is day 0 then and then Thursday day 1

DH didn’t have a cough in his symptoms , so T&T took it from PCR positive day.

loloballlolo · 27/01/2022 09:25

first day of symptoms day 1

littlefaith · 27/01/2022 09:32

@loloballlolo

first day of symptoms day 1
That's incorrect. First day of symptoms (or first positive test if asymptomatic) is Day 0.

Isolation is for the next 10 full days with a chance to be released early if testing negative (2 tests 24 hrs apart) from Days 5/6.

I don't think you should be counting weds as day zero, because you had a negative PCR that day. Unless you have the sample at 9am and started with symptoms at 11pm.
And even if you do go with weds as day 0, that makes today day 7, and I doubt very much that you'll make a negative lft yet.

I had temperature sunday night, cold symptoms monday but PCR and LFT negative. Tuesday negative lft and positive Wednesday. Test and trace and work separately both started from positive test.
