DS and I have identical symptoms, he is positive and I'm not?

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts.

DS(5) has tested positive. He has lots of positive contacts in his class and was complaining of a sore throat on Monday morning so I tested him. He has complained of a slight sore head at times but mostly it's been a scratchy throat

I have identical symptoms, sore throat and intermittent headache but have tested negative every day since Monday. If we weren't testing I'd swear we both had the same (mild) bug.

I don't know whether to book a PCR as I haven't got the any of the classic symptoms and don't meet any of the other criteria?

I'm at home anyway with DS but it's just for doing the shopping etc.

My PCR just came back inconclusive so off to do another

My PCR has come back positive. 6 days of negative LFTs including throat swabs, all no hint of a line... Thankfully I was isolating with my son anyway.
