Nasty taste in mouth after Covid

Has anyone else got this? It's constant and unpleasant.
I'm 2 weeks clear of Covid now but this taste is lingering. Everything I eat or drink is tainted with the taste.
If you had it how long did it last?

This makes me think I've had it, despite repeated negative LFT results

I've definitely been feeling ropey enough, but the last few days I've had a vile taste in my mouth too. It's like my saliva and gums have some horrid thing going on that tastes and smells grim. I haven't lost taste or smell at all, my mouth tastes yuk and I'm really aware of it.

I just searched this up because my DD just recovered from Covid and is now reporting a bad taste in her mouth. Not exactly metallic, more chemically. Like she ingested petrol or cleaning chemicals. She hasn't lost taste or smell either. Incidentally, she only had negative LFTs too. She only tested positive on PCR when she got symptoms. Anyway, I hope it doesn't last long, sounds awful

I have this. I was quite ill with covid from 13 Jan to maybe the 19th. But this horrible taste has been getting worse. It’s like something burnt tasting at the back of my throat and I can’t taste food or smell at all. Hope it goes soon.

I have had this too . Been feeling ropey. LFT negative

Bad taste and smell still lingering since June.

I’m on day 6 and tested negative today, but I’ve lost all sense of smell. I can’t even smell bleach, or when I stick an olbas stick up my nose.

My taste is also gone. My mouth feels raw and the taste is like iron/blood? It’s horrible.

It was like a really old horrible coffee taste for me.
