Pain in middle of back day 13

I tested positive for covid 13 days ago, I was quite unwell for around a week with high temperature, sore throat and body aches. Tested negative and started feeling better on day 10, even if I developed a mild dry cough ( coughing once every couple of hours or less) and I am still feeling quite tired. What is really bothering me is this pain in my back, kind of middle of it. It feels muscular, as it gets worse when I twist. It started today, it is not aggravated by taking deep breaths, my oxygen is fine 99% and I am not feeling out of breath at all. It's not a terrible pain, I can a still get on with my day fine and I haven't felt the need to take painkillers, but it is there and it doesn't shift! Has anyone had it? Could it be just a muscular pain? I will call the GP if it's still there in a couple of days off course, I just wanted to know if anyone has had it once they started feeling better?

I had pain that started on the right side and worked it's way around my middle back to the left side. It was really quite painful at times. It continued for about 3 weeks after covid. I went to the GP at the 2.5 week mark because I was getting a little breathless. The only thing he could find wrong was my pulse rate was high. It settled once the pain had stopped. The GP couldn't tell me what had caused it. I have since heard of others with the same pain in their ribs/back so assume it is an after effect of covid.

Thank you for the replies, I'm going to try and be patient and hopefully it will pass, it is just really irritating as it is a constant pain, the only thing that seems to help slightly is a hot water bottle

My DD had this and they kept saying it was spinal inflammation from covid, but it was a uti in the end. She didnt have typical uti symptoms, and her wee dip didnt show much. It was the culture that confirmed it.

Could be either of these for you perhaps?

The pain is more in my upper back, I don't think it could be a UTI, I had one before and the pain felt different. Tonight it feels really sore, it is a moving pain, earlier on it was in between my shoulder blades, now it's more in the middle of my back on the side. It is really getting me down!
