Any medicines that helped keep symptoms mild?

I've tested positive this morning 😭

I'm jabbed & boosted & taking vit D & a multivitamin, but I'm the most overweight, (very), I've ever been after a difficult year. Any advice on supplements or other things that help get through it would be great thanks 😁

Oh..I forgot to mention CBD oil.

@Armpittits I'm not entirely sure; I feel like symptoms were brewing for a couple of days before I actually tested positive. Day 2 from positive test but I think I would have tested pos the afternoon before.

Yesterday I felt very unwell indeed. Today a bit better but will see.

I'm taking extra vit D.

I'm definitely having to use my inhalers more; can feel it trying to kick things off in my lungs.

I'm craving meat and fatty foods eg butter. Maybe zinc?

Taste definitely not affected!

Interesting. I was wondering what day symptoms get peak bad as don't want to get joyous about mild symptoms too early.

I'm weak & tired but have done nothing but binge tv shows yest & today. If I couldn't just do nothing, I know I'd feel really shit.

My Pcr was Monday & today is the first I've had a faint positive on LFT.

You see I was negative on lft the day before I tested positive. My children have had it so I have been testing 2x a day in a paranoid manner Grin
Finally tested positive on day8 of my dd1’s test!! She tested negative that day Envy
I’m now on day 3 from positive test and feel pretty crappy still. Weak and tired. Coughing a lot, lost my voice( not good when you’ve got 4 kids running riot) and lungs feel like they’ve had a round with Mike Tyson.
How you feel better very soon! Flowers

Early on (2020) there were news articles suggesting ibuprofen was not a good idea. Anyone got any update on that?

Mamabear12 · 27/01/2022 10:52

NAC is supposed to be good to take if you have covid. i also took a berroca daily. And fresh squeezed oj or carrot juice. Hot ginger tea w honey and lemon. Paracetamol and Ibprofen for the pain (alternating them).
