I’m still positive aren’t I

I’m on day 7, had really strong positives to begin with. Yesterday I had a very faint line, you can just see it, but definitely there. I was hoping to be negative today, but it’s the same extremely faint line. I know I’m still positive, just a bit frustrated by it. Are others getting absolutely no line at all?

I’m isolating in our tiny box room to try to limit the chance of everyone else getting it. Have others done this? I think I’m going to come out, I’m going insane!

Sounds like you're still positive, sorry!

But I don't think you need to isolate in a room - we're on day 5 today of DC1 and DC2 having it. DH and I still have no symptoms and are getting negative LFT's.

I'm opening windows regularly throughout the day, reminding them to cover their mouths when they cough and washing hands regularly but other than that everyone is moving round the house as normal.

DH and Ds2 are both positive and they haven’t isolated. Ds2 has Sn and was the first to test positive, I couldn’t have made him isolate. DH then tested positive and we decided that he wouldn’t isolate as DS2 hadn’t so what would be the point. Ds1 and I are still negative (though we did have Covid in September, he’s had one jab and I am triple jabbed).

Thank you both. I’m going to come out, but still sleep in here. I will keep washing my hands and be careful, but it’s become too difficult. DH is struggling with providing me with food, working and looking after the dc and animals. I think we’re through the most contagious stage.
