Travelling after infection

If you get covid and go abroad a few weeks later, what happens with the testing? If you can test positive weeks after infection how does that work?

Some countries accept a certificate of infection, but by all means not all.

Not everyone will continue to test positive for that long. Many won't test negative beyond the original 10-14 days isolation, even on a PCR.

DD's friend flew home on day 14 after infection. Her PCR was negative,

It depends on the Country, some require negative PCR, but some will accept certificate of recent infection and some only accept fully vaccinated and of course, like the UK change their rules every so often.
