Same old question… will I catch covid / how many days

My daughter tested positive on an LFT on Tuesday night. She had had a cough for a few days before but my husband had not done and LFT and I had been away for weekend… anyway I’ve been testing myself every day as I need to go out for work and I’m still testing negative. Is it too soon to think that maybe I haven’t got it? Everyone else in the house is testing negative. So I guess today is the fourth day after she got his first positive. I had Covid last summer but then so did the whole family , didn’t stop Dd from testing positive again! I am triple jabbed so don’t know if that helps. What are your experiences please? I don’t mind if I get it not ideal but I had it very mildly before. To be honest I’m surprised I haven’t got it by now as my DD coughed on me quite a lot in the past few days!!

We're in the Same boat waiting ds tested positive Tuesday after cough starting Sunday- ( primary age so no jab we are boosted etc) dp and I negative on pcr Thursday me negative on ltr today but slowly been feeling more and more tired and sore throat. I have a long awaited reunion next week I'm going to miss it aren't I - drinking so much to try and wash it through randomly

There are lots of other bugs at the moment. I’ve had definitely not Covid bronchitis and that started with a scratchy throat!

No sign of DH or I testing negative yet (D7/8). Both boosted, me less than a month ago. Caught it on DC1's day 7/8. (DC2's day 2).

I'm negative on LFTs, positive on a PCR. Triple jabbed and have awful symptoms.

MIL who tests daily is positive today on an LFT. No symptoms whatsoever.

Back when the DC had it in the first wave and we isolated for 14 days, no LFTs but DD tested positive and everybody else was fine until DS tested positive on day 15. We'd been in the house for 15 days straight so could only have caught it from his sister.

Is there any rhyme or reason to any of it?

DP ill Saturday tested positive Sunday morning.
DD 8 slightly hot/headache Sunday but didn't test positive until Thurs with no other symptoms
Me and DS 3yrs negative all along
This morning (Sunday) everybody testing negative!

To be honest I'm so confused and slightly annoyed we aren't all getting it out of the way together despite the fact I've been terrified of covid for two years. Also I'm the only one jabbed and boosted.

I’m still negative too, this is day 5 since DH tested positive.

He’s got virtually no symptoms thankfully!

DD tested positive Monday, so think this makes this day 6??

I’m still negative on day 6 after Dd was positive and so is DH. She has an incredibly faint positive today so I’m hoping the end is in sight.

Both my Dds have had it, one has had it twice last infection two weeks ago, I have never caught it from them?

Dd1 positive on the 16th at 7pm Dd2 positive 17th 9am …. Me, 23 weeks pregnant and positive today 😢 my partner is still negative, but I’m not sure about my 17 month old dd3 as I don’t want to test her :(

My DD tested positive Thursday before last. Last week I was feeling a bit off (headache, congested ) but tested negative with LFT's. Saturday just gone I was very dizzy with cold symptoms and so went for a PCR yesterday which came back positive. All of a sudden I'm testing positive via LFT (and feel rank!)

Tested positive last Thursday, I just felt really cold all day, so did a lft. My worse days were 3 and 4, feel better today. DH tested positive today, mild symptoms as yet. Our 3yr old is still negative and full of energy.

DH and I still negative and its day 7. DD still has a really faint line so is still trapped in the house.

Just to update you … on day 10 of my daughters isolation (she was fine to go out as was negative) my DH has tested positive!! To be fair he has not tested for 3/4 days and the LFT line was very dark so we think he had it earlier but still I’m like woah! The other thing is he went out on Saturday with some friends (none of which have said they have tested positive) and family so I guess he might have caught it there . That’s the only time he’s been out too!

DS tested positive on lateral flow yesterday so very early days for me yet I hate the waiting and not knowing!

DS Spent Monday vomiting so I tested him out of curiosity and he was positive.
Now day 3 he's 100% back to normal. I'm still testing negative. Fingers crossed I make it !!!

I tested neg every day after ds tested positive last Monday. I tested positive and had key Covid symptoms 7 Das later. 7 days for us. When dd had it in early December, none of us got it.

We are freee! Dd tested neg on day 8/9. So far DH and I are clear.
