Just done this test and I think it’s a positive but husband is adamant that as it’s quite faint and it isn’t brightly coloured then it’s a negative.

What are your thoughts?

I’m thinking of taking a second one just to check again but we don’t have many.

My husband currently has Covid so surely it’s likely it’s a true positive? It would be a coincidence if not?

It’s positive.

FeelingHinchGray · 21/01/2022 10:46

There's no doubt it's a positive. I've read a line, no matter how faint, is positive

peachescariad · 21/01/2022 10:46

positive

Whinge · 21/01/2022 10:46

There's a line, it may not be a strong line, but a line, no matter how strong or weak means a positive result.

pilates · 21/01/2022 10:46

Yes positive

Okki · 21/01/2022 10:47

DD's first test was like that. She did a second one half an hour later and it was a strong line in about 10 secs. Def say you're positive

Bearwiththehairs · 21/01/2022 10:47

100% positive

FlickyCrumble · 21/01/2022 10:48

It’s definitely positive.

ArianaG · 21/01/2022 10:52

definitely positive

vodkaredbullgirl · 21/01/2022 10:52

positive

Kdubs1981 · 21/01/2022 10:53

Positive

BooksAndHooks · 21/01/2022 10:54

Very clear positive. Show him the enclosed instructions that say any line within the time frame is a positive.

DontWantTheRivalry · 21/01/2022 10:54

I took a second one after doing this post and even though it’s been about 11 minute the white strip of the test (which changes colour as the solution climbs up it) is still really pink so I can’t actually see if there’s a second line or not. I guess this is why you need to leave it longer to wait for it all to dry out.

Blupblup · 21/01/2022 10:55

Yes that's a positive. Any line is a positive.

DontWantTheRivalry · 21/01/2022 10:56

The two tests…

Both positive.

Sloughsabigplace · 21/01/2022 10:57

They are both positive.

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 21/01/2022 10:58

I can see a second line on both tests.

MadeForThis · 21/01/2022 11:01

I can see a line on both tests.

Any strength line is positive.

Rainbowsandstorms · 21/01/2022 11:04

Both positive.

DontWantTheRivalry · 21/01/2022 11:11

I had a PCR 48 hours which was negative. I only had to take one to clear me going back to work due to my husband having Covid.

I was completely symptomatic, result came back at 4am yesterday morning as negative so I went into work.

Woke up this morning, feeling rough, but if a headache, aching limbs so thought I would do an LFT and here I am.

Omicron has a short incubation so you probably were negative yesterday but today you are definitely positive particularly if you’ve woken up with symptoms.

SPSN · 21/01/2022 11:17

Both are definitely positive.

Blupblup · 21/01/2022 11:19

Tests can turn from negative to positive in the space of less than a day. Even if your PCR 48 hours ago was negative, you are now testing positive for covid and need to start self-isolating

DontWantTheRivalry · 21/01/2022 11:27

Husbands now accepting it.

I’m meant to be going to watch Strictly Come Dancing Live in Birmingham tomorrow.

I can’t believe it Sad

Now to ring work….
