Has anyone managed to get 'recovered from Covid' pass for 15 year old?

I'm pulling my hair out and going round in circles!
DS had Covid in November, not had vaccine and can't for 3 months. We are due to travel at half term and he will not have had his vaccine by then.
I spoke to 119 who said Under 16 can't get a recovery letter, so I should get his profile linked to me via the GP. Done that, can see his profile on my app, but nothing about a positive PCR test, or recovery status. I'm 41 minutes into a call with 119 who can't seem to get their heads around it - just doesn't seem possible that a 15 old, who can't yet be vaccinated, can't have proof of recovery....

There’s nothing 119 can do. There is no recovery proof for under 16s.

Any idea how he can travel @FajitaBonita ?

Keep your fingers crossed that a fit to fly test is clear? Sorry don’t mean to sound deliberately unhelpful but that’s all I can say.

Maybe ring the GP to check Covid is actually on his medical records too?

We’re planning to use the email confirmation of our two DDs positive results as proof of recovery to exempt from quarantine in Germany. No idea if that’ll work, but it’s the only thing we have in black in white.

If you need it to enter the country you’re travelling to, can you try and ring the airline, foreign consulate or border force?

Thunderpunt · 20/01/2022 19:05

I emailed the German Ministry for Health for clarification - we are driving so no airline to call unfortunately. Austria has just relaxed things so we may be ok.

Hey @Thunderpunt from Feb 3rd 12-15 year olds will be able to access Covid pass on the NHS app in England.

I can see my 13 year olds positive PCR on my NHS account as she is a linked account to mine. Her positive PCR wasn’t showing on the account, even though mine was, so I wrote to my Drs with a copy of the emailed positive result with my DDs NHS number and now the positive result is on there.
