Very pro-vaccine but I haven't had my booster yet

This week is the first time since I got covid in October I have been able to work; I'm still relatively poorly but I can now function, with a nap and regular rests

I am 12 weeks post covid (if I was a teenager I could now have my booster - if I understand the rules)

I have been turned away at the vaccine place twice as I was 'too ill' and a nurse and a pharmacist have both said maybe after 12 weeks

Do I risk becoming ill again by booking it now?

I am very pro-vaccine but also a bit terrified of becoming more ill; I have chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia and was advised by a consultant (many years ago) to avoid unnecessary vaccines, so we have avoided any holidays which have needed them and I've tended to avoid crowded places when it was flu season rather than have the flu jab - I saw this vaccine as necessary

But now I'm scared
