After symptoms started, how long before you got a positive lft or pcr?

Please could you also advise your symptoms each day?

I feel dreadful, have since Saturday but negative on both tests.

Negative LF for work Tuesday AM, had a headache Tuesday evening, woke up with a sore throat and headache Wednesday and got a strong instant positive. Was achey, tired and shivery on Wednesday night, cough and achey Thursday /Friday and cough been getting better since then. No sense of taste or smell since Thursday.

Thank you, I will do another one tonight and see what that says.

On two of the tests I have done a couple of hours later there has been a very faint line!

Try and get a PCR. You are supposed to if possible when you have symptoms and I know some people are negative on LFTs and positive on a PCR way before they get any LFT positives.

It took me about 3 days later

About an hour - was testing every morning because others in the house had it. I woke up feeling fine, perhaps slightly blocked nose, but I get that quite regularly anyway, LFT negative. Some time later started to feel sinus pressure, itchy nose and like I needed a lie down. LFT was faintly positive.

Woke with a sore throat on 29th. First positive LFT evening of the 30th.

Tested before work yesterday and was negative. Then got a tickly throat late last night. Tested this morning and got a faint positive but been feeling ok today really, bit of a cough and runny nose but otherwise ok.
