No one believes me when I say Dd has had it twice in a month.
She had covid in December, was totally asymptomatic. Caught it off me & Dp who both had it mildly. Did the full 10 days isolation and was out by Christmas Day.
Fast forward.. back to school and most of her class and the teacher test positive the first week back, apart from a small few which in my opinion could have it as the parents aren't testing unless they actually have symptoms, they could be asymptomatic. Was hoping Dd would miss it.
Anyway, woke up complaining her throat hurt and was scratchy. Snotty nose but not particularly ill.
Did an lft (had negative lft's earlier in the week) and a very faint line! Did a pcr despite it being within 90 days, you can with new symptoms and she's bloody positive!!
This time with mild symptoms.
We all had covid last month and I honestly thought it was omicron based on our symptoms (as above Dd was asymptomatic, the rest of us had symptoms). Maybe we had delta and now it's omicron.
Maybe we've got omicron twice.
Anyone else been through this?
The isolation is the worse part.
