Are people still being pinged?

Or is that a thing of the past? Haven't heard of it lately so was just curious. And if you are, does it tell you to get a lft now or still a pcr?

I don't have the app but been messaged today by track and trace to say close contact.

I have the app just for curiosity, have been pinged twice since Christmas, once fir my husband who had tested positive and then last weekend.

Turned off tracking a couple of weeks before I went on holiday last summer and never turned it back on.

Don’t know what work rules are now, can’t keep up but last year we still had to have a PCR if we were pinged so it was a pain. I’m inpatient NHS so we had to turn it off at work anyway. Too much of a pain to turn it back on.

Just been pinged this evening! It's telling me to isolate, which I shall ignore as I'm fully vaccinated.

I didn't realise the app still existed to be honest!
