Hi is it normal to start feeling worse around this time? I started off with terrible shivers and body aches. I now feel so bunged up and have quite a chesty cough and i feel so tired i could just keep falling to sleep. My chest is hurting as well slightly more today. Yesterday i did kind of feel like i had a bad cold. Thanks

It was for me.

Evening of day 5, I was sat on the sofa and I honestly thought I would pass out I felt so ill. Ended up abandoning dh and the children and laying in a dark room from 6pm until I finally fell asleep around 11.

I had 24 hours of feeling terrible day 5 ish, before and after its just been a head cold (albeit a slightly odd feeling one).

I think day 6 was the worst day for me and day 7 felt bad too but then amazingly on day 9 I woke up feeling a thousand times better.

Ok thanks. I did start feeling better last night so im trying not to get myself worked up or worry today as I do feel quite bad. Going to have a bath and see if it helps.

Honestly, I’ve been up and down.

Just take it easy.

Same thing is happening to me. Day 5 today. After 3 days of high temperature, body aches and feeling really crap, yesterday I started feeling so much better! No temperature, no aches.... but during the night I started feeling progressively unwell, bad sore throat, high temp again and this morning I could not get up I felt so sick! I am trying my best not to worry too much about it.

Hi sorry you're feeling the same. I felt worse after i had a bath. I am just going to stay in bed i think today. I can't seem to clear my nose and its all just sitting on my chest.

Have you got an oxomiter?

I needed up ordering one for a tenner on prime. I suffer from anxiety though and it was making things worse for me. I found it really reassuring to see that my heart rate was in the 60s/70s and my oxygen sat was alway 97-99%. It calmed me down.

(I had a severe reaction to the first vaccine which I’m still undergoing treatment for, not had another so getting covid was extremely anxiety inducing for me).
