Experiences with Omicron Covid

I’m currently isolating after testing positive, and I’m on day 4 of symptoms, though day 1 was just a mild sore throat.

I’ve googled and it does seem like it can last from a week to longer, but I thought I’d just get peoples general experiences with when you started to feel better.
I’m a single mum to a 2 year old and I feel terrible that I have no energy to play with him.
I’ve got a cough and a runny nose/leaky eyes and I’m exhausted.
I was double vaxxed already and I had my booster a week before I got Covid.
If you have had what you suspect to be Omicron- or the more “cold like” type of covid- when did you start feeling better?

For me the worst of the physical symptoms were over by day six- however, and it is a big however, the exhaustion and dizziness went on and on. I tried to return to work on day 11 and was off again on day 12. I also had a secondary infection in my sinuses. I have only just regained full feeling in my legs.

Really anxious over it but trying to keep distracted
I'm.also taking 4 tsp of manuka honey each day and I believe its helped my throat definitely. Hugs to all

DH: flu like symptoms, lasted ten days, was very rough
DS: 24hrs of high temp, aches & pains, thought I would have to take him to A&E, next day got up like nothing was ever wrong
DD: low level symptoms for 5 days, tested negative, back to school, then needed two more days off following week with symptoms again
Me... still covid free two years on 💪🏻

Heavy headache on the day I tested positive. Cold symptoms were very mild (I've had horrible colds in the past). However, sinus pain was ongoing, didn't like that.
