How long after contact with Omicron did you test positive / show symptoms?

Just been informed that DS was a close contact on Wednesday night and wondered how quickly people have developed symptoms or tested positive. I will be testing DS daily, I can't be sure he will tell me if he is unwell as he has special needs.

4 days from confirmed contact until positive test but 3 days until very very mild symptoms started.

I think 2-3 days is the norm for omicron

Party on Friday evening by the Monday lunchtime about 60% had a positive PCR. My LFT was negative but the PCR positive. I had no symptoms at that point though.

My 3 year old tested positive on Sunday, husband Monday and 6 year old Tuesday. We haven't been distancing at all and it took until Friday for me to get a positive lateral flow.

In contact on Monday with someone who tested positive on wed. I tested positive today (Friday) headache yesterday but negative test.

In close contact with a confirmed case for the whole day indoors, tested every day and two PCRs neither me, DS or DH caught it 🙂
