I did mine online. Think if you can't do it that way then they call

I’ve had to do this 4 time previously last year, each for a child and each time they called me. This time around as DS14 has it again, He got a text with a link to a form to fill in. I assumed they must be extra busy but glad I didn’t have to do the phone call again!

Think dh was sent an email link. Not sure he filled it in but we didn't get a phonecall anyway

I've been named to test and trace twice since christmas and tested positive.

All of the contact was by text and email for everybody. I was sat with dh while he filled out his form and I was sent a text as he filled it out. When the person who gave it to me filled it in both me and dh were sent a text at the same time.

My form was sent within a couple of hours of the positive result coming through.

Yes almost hourly until you answer🙄

It you fill in the form they don’t phone but they are persistent if you can’t speak to them straight away

I'm in Scotland- they asked DD to fill in an online thing but they never contacted anybody

The guy who called about my son was funny tonight. I don't even think he knew what he was doing because think he was training. When he asked how ds got it I said think he got from me. He was like he got it from you. It was definitely hard trying not to laugh at him.
I really don't want to go through that again. I just wanted the call to end.
But I do think some people wouldn't of had patience for this guy.
