Relapse of Omicron? Gastro symptoms?

Just wondering if people have experienced relapses of Omicron like with original Covid?

We had Omicron over Christmas. Part of the symptoms were stomach ache and nausea. My DD had those symptoms today and was off school. This evening I have also felt them again exactly like with when I'll over Christmas. Could it be a relapse? Or could we actually be infected again?

Obviously it could be a stomach bug but I have never felt this sick without actually being sick except when we had Omicron.

With the original COVID I got relapses in gastric symptoms for 6 months (not often but regularly iyswim). I think it's very common to get relapses of all sorts of symptoms, esp for a few weeks.

Thank you. I had lots of relapses first time round and then Long Covid for almost a year. I didn't have gastric symptoms before, though. I just feel so sick I can't sleep.

Yep. Tested positive on Christmas Eve, so nearly 3 weeks ago now (but feels much longer). Had felt mostly back to normal last week, but on Monday it all came back - headaches, fatigue and nausea. Yet yesterday it had gone again! Maybe it will come and go for a while but hopefully get milder each time.

@Lemons1571 - that is literally the same as me! It is a strange illness.
