Sons first jab not on medical records

It seems something went wrong when DS went for his first jab (he's 16) and when he went for his second, he was told his first wasn't on his medical records. We have his vax card with the batch number, date etc, and have been trying to get this sorted but am not getting anywhere.

Anyone had this issue and got it sorted? I've emailed the address we were given, been to the GP, spoken to numerous people on the phone, doesn't help that he's at college and can't get to his phone easily to speak to them himself.

I've replied on a couple of threads like this over the last few days. What usually happens in cases like these is that the record hasn't been saved properly ("partially saved" is how it appears on the record at the vaccination centre). The easiest way of fixing it if this is the case is to go back & ask the vaccination centre to look for it. If this is the case it is easily found & fixed. If it somehow doesn't appear to have been saved at all they should be able to create the record for you. Otherwise get on to 119, but by far the easiest way is if the vaccination centre will help you (I've sorted out lots like this).

We had the same with my DS, also 16. We are in Wales and the health board gave me an email contact. They searched for the records and within a few weeks I had confirmation and his vaccine passport was updated. Hope you get it resolved
