First signs of Omicrom

Just wondering whether anyone could advise on their first symptoms of omicrom.

My son has it at the moment (day 4 from positive LFT with mild symptoms) and I keep taking LFT which are 100 % negative. I am fully vaccinated.

I have swollen glands in the neck, a lumpy throat, a mouth ulcer, a bit achey and under the weather feeling. Otherwise fully functioning.

Does this sound like I have it? I had covid in the early days of the pandemic but this felt very different. I'm not really able to get a PCR and would prefer to keep isolating.

Mine was a very scratchy sore throat which kept me awake a lot, and two nights of sweating a bit I think. Then just felt like I had a cold.

Should have said, I didn’t test as a result, was working from home all week & only tested on day 4 as I needed to go out. Mine was a thick black line before the liquid was even to the top, son & daughter also positive that day / the next despite no symptoms until fri eve.

For me I just sneezed a lot for a day then felt really tired for a week and had a slight cough.

Sounds like same symptoms I had. Swollen glands,lethargic,hot and dizzy/nausea spells, with a s0re throat for two days.
I never had a cold or cough weirdly.

The people I know with COVID recently had headache and general flu feelings followed by a fever.

I had an absolutely banging headache on the day I tested positive. I was negative at 3am then positive at 9am! The day before I had a dodgy stomach and felt off it.

Bloodshot dry, sore eyes, sneezing and very runny nose to start with and followed by banging head, awful sinus pain, dizziness and feeling sick, bad back, joint pain and crushing fatigue. Am on day 5 and still have bad head/ sinuses and am so tired - my shower earlier felt like a twelve hour shift down the pit.

Snotty nose, sneezing and mild body aches. Slight loss of appetite.

I had a massive headache, really awful aches and pains (lasted a full day but disappeared the next day), diarrhoea and a scratchy throat. I kept getting jot and.cold flushes for a few nights too.

I had a scratchy throat and phlegm in the night and still have swollen glands but maybe feel a bit better today. Also a sharp intermittent headache for a short time.

Still testing negative on LFTs. DS was in close contact with a positive case and tested positive last Friday.

Should I keep going with the tests or assume I just have had it?

Following also have dreadful sore throat, ear ache and swollen glands. Bit of a cough as well so got a PCR this morning to be on the safe side. LFTs are negative so was worried work would think I was OTT but colleagues agreed very sensible precaution and WFH best feeling like this.

Achy neck, chest pains, cold, fuzzy/ dizzy head & low energy.

Dd had a rash & was lethargic.

Following with interest, my dd (8) just tested positive with no symptoms (lfts all negative). Dd, hubby and I all had it last year. We're fully vaxxed and boosted but I've had a sore throat 3 times in last 6 weeks.

Mine was a splitting headache followed swiftly by nausea and lower back pain akin to bad period/early labour. I'm on day 5 at the moment and other than a blocked nose and lethargy starting to feel normal again.

Lethargy, neck ache, my eyes are burning, my nose is burning, sneezing. Slight sore throat.

I felt fine this morning, felt off by mid morning. Took an lft at lunchtime and feeling quite crappy now.

A runny nose then sore eyes.
Aches and pains and tireness a few days later. None of the top 3. I had a positive Lf confirmed with PCR.
