North West England PCR results waiting time.

As anyone had a PCR in the last few days?
Just wondering how long the results took.
Took Eldest DD for one Friday and currently on 48 hours.

Just had mine now and was wondering how long for results.

Did you go to a test centre or post?

Had on at the airport Saturday and still waiting. Last one was June last year and 24 hours

Did our PCRs on Weds. Family of 4. One result came back Friday afternoon. One on Saturday afternoon. And two on Sunday morning.

Test centre. Only waited 24hrs or less all previous times, incredibly frustrating.

Came through this evening. 48 hours. Negative thankfully

I was surprised at how easy it was to get an appointment

Hiding from DD, good to hear it was negative.
Still waiting here.

Result just through.
Thankfully negative but yesterdays LFT still fairly strong second line and symptoms were exactly the same as someone else in her class that had covid just before the return to school!
Back to school tomorrow.
