When am I out of isolation?

Sorry I'm just a bit baffled by the guidelines! I'm faint positive on ltf and on day 8. My day 10 is Saturday. Am I out of isolation on Saturday or Sunday? If I am negative tomorrow and Saturday then is it Saturday or is that just for day 6&7?

You need two days of negative tests for an early end to isolation. If you’re positive on day 8, that’s not possible. You’ll have ro keep going until day 10. There’s no need for a negative test on day 10 to go out again.

Sorry, forgot to say your day 10 ends at midnight so you’ll be free Sunday.

Didnt test and trace give you the end of isolation date?

It would be midnight on day 10 so you'd be free on Sunday
If you get negative tomorrow and Saturday then you'd be free Saturday

Thinking about it more, if you took the tests tomorrow and Saturday 24 hours apart, you could potentially be out on Saturday daytime if they were both negative.

I'm similar to you OP, just one day ahead on day 9. I'm still testing positive on lft. So as I understand it my isolation ends tomorrow at midnight and i'm back at work on Saturday. So you would be free of isolation on Sunday unless you get a negative both tomorrow and Saturday .

It was me that asked. You should have had a follow up pcr test and when it was positive completed the online form or waited for the phone call. They would have clarified when you need to stop isolating and when you need to test and if negative leave isolation early.
Sounds like you've just gone of the lft and chose to isolate?
In which case its 10 full days with day 0 as day of test. If you are double vaccinated and test negative say 6 and 7 with 24hrs inbetween you can leave isolation

I'm double vaccinated yes.
