I've got COVID and feeling anxious due to my suppressed immune system. I'm on Day 4 and my symptoms are mild but I have a cough that is irritating and makes my chest feel tight. I just feel anxious about developing pneumonia, does anyone know when I may assume I'm safe from that happening?

It sounds so far so good. Do you have an oxygen monitor? Or a peak flow measure? They can be useful for when speaking to 101. I needed steroids at 3/4 due to underlying asthma. You should call your GP or 101 for reassurance.

Thank you! I have asthma too (and Crohn's hence the immune suppression due to my Crohn's medication). Yes I feel fine in myself it's just this cough which I wouldn't be worried about if I didn't know it was covid!

I'm otherwise healthy, triple vaccinated and I felt worse the week after my positive test for covid on 23/12. I've developed a chest infection I'm now on antibiotics for. I am early 30s, and was in the its just a cold camp.

It's just one of these things you'll never now how it effects you until it happens, so just look after yourself and call for medical advice if needed.

I've just had covid and I am on an immunosuppressant for bowel disease too.
I needed antibiotics for my chest by day 3, my cough was really bad and I felt pretty awful, but not like I needed hospital or anything. Day 10 or so now and I'm feeling a lot better, just totally wiped out. This is my second time with covid ( first was before I was on the immunosuppressant) and this time was much worse.
