Awful late onset reactions to vaccines and Covid

I just want to see if anyone else has gone through similar, I feel like I’m going out of my mind.

After both vaccines about 10 days after I absolutely lost myself, I was exhausted, everything ached, I was so run down, I had swollen and painful glands and I cried almost everyday because of how bad I felt. Both times this passed within maybe 10 days, but whilst I was going through it it was hell as I just felt so unlike myself.

For clarity, I’m in my twenties, really healthy, happy, have a little boy, I work full time and usually have a very busy active lifestyle and would say I’m no more tired than the usual person.

I got Covid just before Christmas, I actually felt okay during isolation. Now I’m back out I feel terrible, all the same symptoms of how I felt after my vaccines. My glands are so tender still, I have muscle aches, I have headaches everyday, I’m so tired today I feel like I can barely take care of my toddler. Whilst isolation is over I still feel like I have the cold that I had whilst having Covid.

I had a blood test a few months ago when I had my first reaction to the vaccine, all was fine. I was fine before I had Covid. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I actually feel like I could sleep for a week and I’m worried something is genuinely wrong with me. I’m on day 11 since my PCR.

You're body is exhausted because your immune system is working overdrive to get rid of the virus. It took me a good two weeks to feel even close to normal again after having covid.

I would guess that you're being more active now you're isolation is over so your body is tiring more easily.

Rest up and take it easy (as much as you can with a toddler!) for another week to let your body do its thing.

Hope you feel better soon

It sounds like you’re experiencing post viral symptoms

Definitely won’t be the vaccine, it’s impossible because it’s not a live vaccine.

It’s just a coincidence- might be another virus, not even Covid.

I’m nearly 3 weeks post Covid and still feeling the effects. Take it easy while you recover
