Unvaxxed and travelling from Scotland

hopefulsunshine11 · 05/01/2022 10:58

Has anyone been abroad from Scotland lately who are unvaxxed?

Not getting into why I'm unvaxxed as I have my reasons, but just wondered if we can still fly by taking tests or if we need a passport. Also when abroad do we have to have the passport to enter places, specifically Spain?

Not looking for a debate on vaccines just any relevant information.

Thanks

You need to be vaxxed to fly.

Spain says you need to be fully vaccinated to go there as a tourist

Most countries have some sort of rule for unvaccinated people its either a complete ban or some time in isolation. Check the uk government website it shows all countries and their requirements.

Coming back to Scotland you need a test to enter scotland.
A day 2 and 8 test and to isolate at home for 10 days.

These are some countries that accept unvaccinated travellers

You either need to be doubled jabbed by at least 14 days before you enter if you're going as a tourist.

Thanks!

I am looking to get vaccinated eventually but for health reasons decided to opt out.

Looks like no Spain for me anytime soon by the time I'm tripple vaccinated.
