My postal PCR test came but... Its not a PCR test 🙄

The box says it is, but it actually contains 7 LFTs

FFS. Took 4 days to arrive as well with bank holidays etc. Now I'll have to order another and I'll probs be out of isolation by the time I get a result anyway!

(Live rurally, can't drive, nearest test centre is not walking distance!)

The only thing missing is someone to tell us their DH "knows" these errors can't happen because of .

I've had teams working on sites throughout the pandemic and frequent testing for them is mandatory.

Many reports of test kits being incomplete, not having the right contents, wrong tests in wrong box etc. We just arrange for extra tests to be sent out. Not a high percentage in the overall scheme of things but certainly errors happen.

Well eventually early this morning I managed to successfully order another one and get an email confirmation! Which has now been posted, so will arrive tomorrow and then hopefully get back to them on Friday and result should be back with me Saturday... 🤞

Just to warn you - the one I posted on Tuesday was received by the testing lab at 1am Wednesday morning (take a photo of the label and track it).

My email / text with the negative result was at 6.09 am this morning - so quite a slow turnaround atm.

Luckily I didn't have to isolate, (negative LFs and no symptoms) as was asked to take a test as part of a study
