Is this negative? As I think I can see a line.

Had covid over Christmas, isolation ends tonight, but I had a negative test on Saturday then its was positive again Sunday, yesterday it was negative but I think I can see a very faint line on tonight's test.
Can anyone else see if?

After your 10 days your fine you shouldn't test for another 90 days after a postive

Sanch1 · 04/01/2022 18:23

If you've completed 10 days it doesn't matter, you're free!

6demandingchildren · 04/01/2022 18:24

It's 10 days tomorrow, so I'm free tomorrow no matter what but I don't really want to go out until I have the 2 negatives.

Whitty just covered this in the press conference but I was only half listening to that bit... You could find his answer which might help you.

You only need 2 negatives if you are coming out of isolation after 7 days

It could be months, if you've done 10 days then go out.

Yes, its positive, but if you've done your 10 days, you are free.

Namaste6 · 06/01/2022 02:10

I'm not so sure that it's positive. Tests left for a while can show a faint block of pink that covers the are from the T to above the C. Regardless, if you've had covid you may still produce a positive LFT if you have lingering T cells for a period of time afterwards. You won't be contagious though. Again, regardless, as you've had covid and have completed your isolation period, you're free to go out.

KiloWhat · 06/01/2022 07:03

There's a little line but it doesn't matter if you've done your 10 days

Bobholll · 06/01/2022 11:36

You’ve done your 10 days, go free. You don’t need a negative LF. You almost certainly aren’t contagious anymore.

There’s a small chance you could continue to post positive for weeks. Hence why you can go free at 10 days regardless as most people aren’t infectious past 7 days so being cautious with 10!
