How long are at-home PCR test kits taking to arrive...?

Showing symptoms so I took the LFT on Monday evening and tested positive.

I managed to order an at home PCR kit this morning as there are no walk-in centres near by (I don't drive and obviously don't want to infect anyone should I be positive).

How long is the turn around time from ordering the PCR kit to receiving it and from posting it to receiving the results.

Hoping you are all well and safe and thank you in advance.

Quickest I have had is kit received next day and results received about 6am the next morning. But that was super speedy and too my by surprise. Last one I got was kit arrive next day, results arrived 2 days after posting at about 3pm.

The key thing is to get it in the post box 1 hour before the last collection time but they explain that in the instructions.

Ordered mine Saturday, received Monday (yesterday). It did state 2 days for delivery when I ordered, which was correct in my experience.

I ordered one yesterday afternoon at approx 3pm and it was delivered at lunchtime today. Made it into the priority postbox ready for their 4pm collection and I'm hoping the results don't take days to come back.

I ordered mine last night at approx 9pm and it was delivered this afternoon. I managed you get it into the priority post box before the final collection. Hopefully the turnaround time won’t be too long but given how busy they are I’m guessing it could take a few days..?
