I can't believe some people can't see a second line. This is worrying - there must be people out there with positive tests who are wandering around convinced they are negative.

Very definite second lines. Sorry OP but they are positive tests. Hopefully you can get postal PCRs?

@2boysand1princess Ours started off like that and next day they were full on dark pink lines 😞.

@eurochick - I also worry that people are coming out of isolation too early if they can't see the feint lines. I had a feint positive line even on day 9!

I can't. All our lines were obvious. However I do need glasses

Just had a thought. Approx 2 weeks ago I had the mildest of sore throats with a headache that I thought was hormonal at the time.
Anyway, could it be possible that the faint lines on today’s tests are the tail end of covid from 1.5 weeks ago?
I have zero symptoms at the moment, so hard to believe I’m brewing covid especially since I’ve not really been anywhere for over a week.

I was supervising kids doing tests at school today, and the positive ones were very clearly positive.

I can see a line on all of them. Get a PCR booked. In the meantime do another LFT in the morning if you want to be sure.

The ones in the second pic have two lines

Had you waited the full 15-30 minutes when taking these photos? My lateral flows have looked like that to begin with, but by 15 minutes there was no second line visible whatsoever.
