PCR booked after nearly a week of persistent coughing and negative LFTs

Anyone want to place the odds? Been feeling rough since the 27th. Husband followed suit a day or so later. Horrendous cough , green mucus, sneezing, chills. Constant negative LFTs. Youngest (2) projectile vomiting today and eldest (4) asked to go to bed as he felt 'hot and cold at the same time' Finally got a PCR for tomorrow. All at home so no risk to others btw.

Got my PCR results back, it was fairly quick and only took 11 hours after the drive thru appointment. Negative.
Had horrible tickly cough since last Thursday, daily LFT all negative. Cough so bad that I even vomited few times. Isolated as couldn’t get PCR at convenient locations, not fit to drive 25+ miles.
Another nasty bug as it seems. Probably time for antibiotic ‘cos I started to produce nasty green mucus.

How's everyone coughs?
Another negative PCR here, daily negative LFTs but have now been coughing for over 2 weeks. Exhausted. Tried everything. Fed up, ache and sore from it and so tired!

I'm still ill. Caught my 'cold' on Boxing Day from a family member. Cough started a day or two later and I'm still coughing terribly now. Feeling like shit. Really weak, shaky, exhausted and just under the weather. I've been off work too... first time in years I've taken sick leave.

Negative pcr when I first had symptoms and numerous negative lft's since.

I'm sorry to hear that you're unwell, but also glad that it's not just me!

@Chimchar Sorry you're still feeling rough too, continue to cough and cough and cough... Daily LFTs remain negative, PCRs taken over past couple weeks also return negative!
I've had enough of it now! Fed up with sounding like an old man on 60 a day 😷😜

Been feeling bad for 7 days now- constant headache sore throat and dizzy feeling- just so tired- still having negative tests though? Everything tastes strange? Has anyone else felt like this?
