Tested positive on 27th. Symptoms at the time was simply pain everywhere. Especially in my back and legs.
Day 2 - more pain and fatigue
Day 3 - less pain, more temperature
Day 4 - cough and temperature
Day 5 - cough and temperature - slight return of leg and back pains
Day 6 - felt well, back to normal! Thought I was over it
Day 7 - today - coughing, stomach pain, chest pain, dizziness, ringing in ears and awful sweats - feel almost as bad as I did I on day 1.

Anyone else’s Covid come back with a vengeance just as you started to feel better?? I’m meant to be back at work on Thursday

Well I never really did the feeling better part I've felt fairly constantly lousy but today is my day 8 I think, and I had sweats, dizziness and ringing ears as a fun new addition yesterday so seems we are having a similar experience although I have felt feverish but not actually had a raised temperature. I hope you feel better soon, its grim.

Covid tricked me too. I didn’t have cough and only a bit of fever, mine was more sinusy.
But yes day 4 I was declaring I was almost back to normal, feeling so pleased it had been short lived. Day 5 - floored.

Good grief, op. How awful. Have you checked your blood oxygen levels? Do you feel you should you be seen by a doctor? Is there anyone at home looking after you? Please take care of yourself.

Yes, absolutely. I only had cold symptoms that started to go around day 8. I thought I’d escaped relatively unscathed. On day 10, it got much, much worse and I ended up in hospital on day 15. The nurse there told me that quite a lot of people who ended up there were not initially very poorly. She said that day 10 is often a turning point—people either get better or get worse.

Blimey, this doesn't sound fun. Are you vaccinated / boosted @LibbyVonTrap??

Katya213 · 02/01/2022 20:48

My dad has the same symptoms, he's in his 70s and on day 8, he's really poorly and I'm riddled with guilt as we gave it to him.

Yes it’s pretty standard unfortunately op, look after yourself as “round 2” can be tough going
