Who is still using the app???

My DH, apparently! I thought most people had deleted it, or at least turned off the tracking thing. But he has just been pinged. Again. Says he was a contact with someone on 29 December who has now tested +ve. Except he didn't leave the house at all on 28th or 29th, or see anyone other than me (and my parents before they left on the morning of 28th, and they definitely haven't tested +ve).

This is the 3rd time he's been pinged - maybe this one will finally convince him it's really not fit for purpose...

I still have it and use it. I was pinged yesterday and so I did a LFT. It was positive.

I've still got mine on, like others, I turned it back on when the pinging/isolation rules changed. My neighbour recently tested positive, and I wasn't pinged, so hopefully it's tweaked correctly now.

I've still got it since it's the only way to know if strangers near me have tested psotive, and to tell people who don't know but I've been near to if I tested positive (which I did last week so I got the app to share my exposures). It's all completely anonymous and doesn't cost me anything but it might help someone else.

Sure, it's not 100% accurate but neither is manual tracing. Better than nothing!

Tell people who I don't know...

I deleted it when a friend who had been isolating for 10 days was pinged to say she had been in contact with someone positive during that time. Her family was isolating with her and no-one left the house so cannot possibly have been the case.
She argued the toss with T&T, who admitted it wasn't the first time they'd heard that issue
