My eyes aren't working

I see lines but my partner doesn't.

They don't look straight and I'm not convinced they are definitely positive.

Would you say these are positive covid tests?

(I am obviously booking a PCR test, just interested to see what other people see)

I think I do as well. This happened for us with youngest DD. In the evening we did another and it was very obviously positive.

SoniaFouler · 01/01/2022 14:44

Your partner is right, there aren’t any lines, and they aren’t positive covid tests, you’re just seeing things that you want to see (possibly as an excuse to get out of something you don’t want to go to?)

JollyJasper · 01/01/2022 14:45

Yes that is how mine looked one evening- by the morning it was lit up like a Christmas treeSad

PupInAPram · 01/01/2022 14:46

I thought they were lines, but on closer inspection I think it's a liquid line which the sample washed in.

TruJay · 01/01/2022 14:46

I can see the most incredibly faint lines…

VaguelyInteresting · 01/01/2022 14:46

I see lines too- sorry OP

Lou98 · 01/01/2022 14:46

@SoniaFouler I must be seeing things too as I quite clearly see two lines on each test 🤷‍♀️

I would take them as positives

Escapedgoats · 01/01/2022 14:46

Both look positive to me (speaking from experience).😩

0palescent · 01/01/2022 14:48

I see very faint lines, the one on the left looks slightly darker.

SpacePotato · 01/01/2022 14:48

Depends how long after actually taking the test you took the pics. They often show faint lines after a few hours

furbabymama87 · 01/01/2022 14:48

One of my kids had a test like this, the next day he tested negative and all other tests been negative. Another of my kids had a very clear positive, so I think he had had it already and been asymptomatic and passed on to his sibling.

AtrociousCircumstance · 01/01/2022 14:49

Both look positive.

ItsAllAboutTheLighting · 01/01/2022 14:50

They both have lines.
Ours started off that way.

You are reading a lot into absolutely nothing there. There is nothing I'm avoiding. We just can't agree on who is right.

I see very faint lines on both tests too

5keletor · 01/01/2022 14:54

I saw the lines straight away. I would definitely book a PCR in this situation.

zingally · 01/01/2022 14:54

Look negative to me, but if you're concerned at all, get a PCR.

fairylightsandwaxmelts · 01/01/2022 14:57

They both look positive to me.

Thisislifefornow · 01/01/2022 14:58

Definite lines there, that's how my sons was and he had a positive pcr

tiredanddangerous · 01/01/2022 14:58

Both look positive to me

SoapyChoc · 01/01/2022 14:58

I can see lines on both

AmandaHugenkiss · 01/01/2022 14:59

My colleague had one like that, he booked a pcr and did another LFT 8 hrs later while waiting; screechingly immediately positive. PCR is a good call!

OldWivesTale · 01/01/2022 14:59

Yes lines are there

SagittariusDwarf · 01/01/2022 15:00

I can see clear lines.

Whatsdamatta · 01/01/2022 15:00

Yes I think both are positive
