Anyone isolating on their own tonight (NYE sucks)

Just wondering if anyone like me is stuck isolating on their own tonight? I live by myself and knew when the time came towards getting Covid I'd really struggle being stuck inside. Waiting on my PCR coming back but 4 positive lateral flows tell me everything. Feeling sorry for myself tonight 😔

Yes me 🙋🏼‍♀️ With 1 in 15 people testing positive last week in London I promise we won’t be the only ones, far from it.

We had lovely plans for tonight but yesterday morning I tested positive on 3 lateral flows after waking in the early hours with a sore throat and headache.

My DD (5) had Covid very bad last Christmas so I’m isolating in our spare room away from my 2 DD’s and DH for the full 10 days. I’m already finding it mentally challenging. I’ve told him to make sure he does something extra special for them tonight as they’re worried about me as I’m high risk.

This is all so tough mentally, I’m so sorry you’re alone at home. I’ll be thinking of you 💗

Me. DP has gone out as he got it first and is out of isolation. Don't mind though!

A lot of my friends have got it right now so feel we're in it together. But i feel a bit angry with them. They're of the opinion as soon as their lateral flows are negative they're leaving isolation. But we're in Scotland and need to isolate for 10 days unlike England (I'm not sure why the difference in rules anyway). But one friend tested positive on Wednesday and is showing a negative lateral flow today and has gone out. I just find it all irresponsible

DH has tested positive so we are at home in separate rooms! I have just had a takeaway delivered though so quite happy sat here watching the TV with my cat.

I am a widow and spend New Year's Eve alone. I do not have a problem with it. I am alone a good deal and so it does not feel unusual.

I am in alone out of choice (which is a bit different) I can't decide whether to have a lovely bath, Kew watching ABBA on TV, find a good film to watch, something on YouTube, keep chatting online etc. Too many choices!!
