yes positive - DS2 LFT was like that, followed by a positive PCR

Middle looks definitely positive to me.

I had the same, tested again later in the day and still a very faint positive. Went for PCR- negative!

Lots of tales on here of this and then getting a positive PCR two days after the first.

So this is the thing. I've had several like this over the space of weeks. All PCRs negative. No symptoms.

Stop wasting LFTs please... everyone.

@CrumbsThatsQuick , I have to test every other day for work. DH has to test every day for work. DD tests every week because she lives with us high risk environment people and works in hospitality.
Which one of us would you like to stop testing?

I don’t get this point - we’re supposed to test on a LF if you’ve no symptoms. I do once twice a week (rather, I did - I am currently waiting for a PCR result…)

No need to be rude . Just I have noticed there is an LFT shortage in the country and we should all be careful with the resources we have, and not waste LFTs.

The test that is looking almost positive was a nose throat one.

Interesting pre-print that finds nose swabs are more accurate for Delta and throat swabs are more accurate for Omicron.

What possessed you to imagine that no-one else has 'noticed that there is a shortage, and further imagine that YOU have to tell them off for 'wasting' tests when they are in fact being used correctly for the correct purpose of testing for Covid??

@SLH2003 they are the tests of three people. We take photos after 20 - 25 mins.

Did another test first thing this morning with a generous amount of throat swabbing and it is clear.
I can be on call this weekend.

My test yesterday was a funny grey colour on the control line after a couple of hours. We decided to call it a void, probably due to the glob I got off my left tonsil.
