What happens if I continually can't get PCR?!

Tested positive on LFT on Tuesday and did another one this morning, still positive. I have tried continually to book a PCR but no luck so far - do I need one? Can I just isolate and continue to do LFT until they're negative?

I've heard horror stories about test and trace practically stalking people so ide just isolate instead.

I used to work for t and t - don't think I particularly want / need to be on the receiving end either.

We are isolating, no close contacts thankfully so will just ride it out.

If you don’t need confirmation for work of PCR test result I would personally keep isolating until you have a negative lft (following whatever the latest isolation period is) tbh if you develop symptoms of long covid you know when you tested positive & you won’t be denied treatment as I would imagine blood tests etc would confirm if you have anything attributed with long covid, the only issue I think would be if you needed a PCR test for travel over the next few months if you don’t have a positive PCR registered.
We are all positive at the moment but been unable to get either postal or in person test so not much we can do other than isolate until testing negative.

We will complete 10 days of isolation and then that will be us done, won't be Lat flow testing beyond that though (in the short term I mean). Will follow the rules as they currently stand.
