Has anyone had Covid twice really close together?

My son has been rough since Boxing Day and got ear ache now (was just cold symptoms) so had a phone appointment at doc who says he thinks it is Covid. He had it on 10th October. Will test of course to check but really wondering if possible so soon? Really hope not. Now off to try and source lateral flows again.

Omicron is much more likely to reinfect people after a short time, yes

Not that close but my son had it in July and tested positive again last week.

Will LFT when I've got some and post back

I tested positive on 1st Dec. Sneezy & runny nose type symptoms.

My son is positive now, I have a sore throat and headache. Can't be sure if it's a second infection or not but if it is it's very narrow gap.

You need a PCR anyway, not LFT

I'll be doing both. Really hope it isn't Covid again

I have this issue at the moment, sorry I didn’t see this before I started another thread, 8 weeks since I tested positive, wasn’t sure if I was meant to get a PCR but I have done this morning in case, surely it would be unlikely to get it so soon again?!
