I'm sitting here just repeatedly opening my emails to see if results have landed, and clicking on every "how long are results taking?" thread. Does anyone else want to rant their anxiety at others in the same situation?

Tested on Boxing Day and the result was back in under 24 hours - but void. Swabbed again yesterday at a walk-in site and still waiting. We're due to go visit some of DH's relatives tomorrow. He already missed Christmas with his dad because his step mum tested positive on Christmas Eve - and his brother, due over from abroad, had to cancel because they changed the quarantine rules. I don't want to be the reason we miss the next thing too!

Hope you don't have to wait much longer. Mine were back in about 19 hours. Tested 11am yesterday results just after 6am this morning

Ruined plans and now the wait to see if any family I spent Christmas Day will become unwell!!

Tested Christmas Eve as part of my weekly testing for work. Still not back. Have felt a little ropey since Boxing Day. Completed a lft Boxing Day, came back negative. Found out 2 people I’ve seen in past 5 days have tested positive so retested today. It came back positive. I’m now booked in for another pcr tomorrow. Sat here hoping it may be a false negative and we can go ahead with our NYE party but I think I’m kidding myself!

Yeah, I saw my parents Christmas Day and they set off to see my 90 year old grandpa the next day. So if it comes back positive I'm going to feel awful. I/we gave it to my parents last summer too. 🙁
