Hi, as title states, I went for my booster on Tuesday and last night my throat felt odd and I realised I couldn’t smell the new plug in upstairs.
Did a new style test which showed up positive instantly, did another an hour or so later but only had the old style one and again it was instant. Have PCR booked for 10am in the morning.

I have several health conditions and severe anxiety which I am medicated for but I can’t stop worrying.
Ds is autistic and had covid in August, he’s still suffering with severe parosmia and is worried sick he will get it from me and has lots of plans this coming week. He’s almost 19 and he’s quite selfish without realising to honest but equally is worrying about me.

I don’t know why I’m posting this tbh i just need to get it out I suppose. Feeling rough, don’t sleep well anyway and hope that having had the 2 vaccines in March and June will help me. I’ve been to our busy city centre shopping twice this week and to the supermarket ( also A&E last Sunday with ds who had a severe panic attack ) so could have caught it anywhere.

Thanks for listening to me Blush

Ah man. There is so much covid around at the moment. What are your health conditions? All the data so far suggests the omicron variant which is very transmissible is less severe.

Hi, thank you for replying at this ungodly hour!

I have fibromyalgia and am in a lot of pain in my lower back and legs, also arthritis, CFS and carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand which has left me with no sense of feeling for 16 months at all. I have anxiety, OCD ( diagnosed and medicated for ) and ADD. I’m just a worrier. Take a crazy amount of meds and also have severe insomnia which doesn’t help when I’m sitting here at silly o’clock worrying!

More importantly, I am classed as morbidly obese, a size 20 at 5ft 5.
Statistically I should be fine at almost 44 years old but my mind goes into overdrive and it’s hard to think straight.

Appreciate your message Smile

Probably best to order or go for a pcr, so that you have covid officially on your health record.

But otherwise, try to have a good duvet lurk!
