Recommend an accurate thermometer to me

Not an armpit/oral one.

Braun in ear seem to get good reviews but is the probe not too big for young children's ears? DC age 6 and 3.

We have the Braun ThermoScan 7 Ear thermometer with Age Precision, pricy but so worth it! Bought it when DD was born and still using it now, always gives true readings (match when taken her to docs or hosp)
