I can never see the line on these threads. If that were my test it would have gone in the bin. Surely we're not supposed to squint, hold them up to the light or take pictures and put filters on them in order to see a line??

My throat is still sore but today’s LFT was negative so I must have had line eyes!

Glad you're negative... I really couldn't see a line. In my experience LFT positives are clear and unambiguous. I once got a PCR after I thought I spotted the faintest of line - my DD was positive at the time so was expecting it - but PCR was negative.

Yes, people over-interpret the guidance. A faint line means just that - not a line that requires specialist optical equipment to discern.

Lol at putting filters on Instagram to see a line ...just why?..I don't get it..if you can't see a line by just looking at it normally then it's negative.

Some people just seem determined to be positive..not sure why

Or just determined to protect others in my case thanks

The camera is hard to pick up a line unless you shine a bright torch on it and then photo it.

Mine was very faint to start with and then got darker later on. Keep testing.

I’ve just tested , I keep coming over all sweaty, throat isn’t sore but I have a headache, I think I can see a line , can anyone else see one ?

The sweats keep coming in waves , I don’t feel shivery though like I have done previously with flu / bad cold .

My LFT were all negative
I had two positive PCRs

I still don't see one. That would be negative in our house.

But, with the symptoms you've described, you probably should take a PCR anyway.

I see a line and with your symptoms you need a PCR
