Omicron Symptoms

Ok, so family all together for Christmas, since lunch time on CE. I now have a blocked and runny nose and a cough, plus headache. Mum has a cough. DD3 sniffing.

Are these Omicron symptoms? I think we will all be taking LFTs in the morning.

Doesn’t sound like it tbh. Mine started with tiredness, slight scratchy throat and hot/ cold flushes. But my LFT went from negative to strong positive very quickly, in a matter of hours. Still tired now on day 6, with headaches that come and go.

I'm in London and have a bad cold. I did daily lateral flows for a week then finally did a PCR yesterday to make sure. I just had the result and it was negative. I just have a cold, not everything is covid. I have cold symptoms, but no headache, persistent cough, loss of taste/smell, fever.

Yet my 16 yr ds had those symptoms but his result was negative.

Our PCRs are negative too 😀

Good. How long did they take to come back

About 24 hours. There doesn't seem to be a set time atm, friend got hers within a few hours and I've seen posters on mumsnet saying 48 hours.
