Feeling a bit angry but don’t know if it’s justified.
My step child’s come over having had xmas dinner with his mum, and a member of his mums family whose wife is unwell and has tested positive (she stayed home). Family member taken a lateral flow test this morning and was negative.
I personally wouldn’t mix if my husband was covid positive as I know the lft can give false negatives but also.. it just seems illogical to go mix with other people when someone you live with actually has covid!
I’m particularly bothered as my MIL has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and her immune system isn’t great and has come to ours for Christmas dinner today.

I’d feel like you.

Plenty on here don’t see it as a problem for some reason, but I know contacts who have tested negative on LFT but have had a PCR that was positive. No symptoms, only tested as they were a contact.

YANBU to be angry.
