Please I need words of encouragement and support. I'm literally freaking out!!! My DS is 6months and has Covid, and I also have Covid. I've had my first jab 2 weeks ago. I'm worried and panicking mostly about if baby will recover quickly. Could you please share your experiences on baby and recovery?
Thanks x

I have no ideas about COVID and babies, but I didn't want to read and run.
The people I know that have had Omicron have only been as ill as a normal cold - if they have been vaccinated.
I hope someone else can be more helpful. Sending you a big hug x

My 4bmontb old and 19knth old both just had, along with my husband and I. He had a bad cold, I was sniffly with a bit of a headache, both really tired. Both babies had temperatures which needed regular calpol for 3-4 days, very sniffly, sneezy, grumpy and not sleeping well for a week or so. Not eating well. Neither very ill though,so we were lucky. Older child has a blood disored which means they have lowered immune system and had one night in hospital to check she was coping ok and temperature was staying down as she can get very ill very quickly and is already admitted fairly often. Even she was fine within 10 days. Good luck to you both.
Monitoring And antibiotics already for other things.
