just wanted to know what you all thought. I'm in NI so our rules about isolation haven't changed, my DS tested positive for Covid last Wednesday, absolutely no symptoms apart from a headache which prompted me to do a LF which was positive, then we did a PCR which was also positive.
As he's had no symptoms since the headache and everyone in our house is still negative I was curious as to whether he'd still test positive, he was negative on LF both yesterday and today.
Does this mean the likelihood of him being contagious is very low now and we're 'put of the woods'? We won't be breaking isolation btw, I'm just wondering how it works as there seems to be nothing about this online.
His sister had Covid the previous week and he defeated positive on day 7 of her isolation, so if he incubated for a few days then DD was likely still contagious around day 4/5.
TIA
