Test and Trace are giving me wrong isolation dates, which mean I'll be isolating over Christmas!

My symptoms started on Tuesday 14th, which means I should be free on 24th so I can go home for Christmas.
I sent my PCR test via post and it took a while to get the result. Only got it today.
I filled out the form from Test and Trace saying who I'd been on contact with etc etc.
But then at the end it told me I need to isolate until 26?! And that if I don't I'm breaking the law.
I've made plans to go and visit my family over Christmas and this would ruin it all. It's incorrect and I'm tempted to ignore it and just go, because I know I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm following the official guidance which is isolate 10 days from when you have symptoms.

What should I do???? I don't want to be fined but I don't want to ruin my Christmas because of a technical error.

Sorry but you are incorrect - the isolation period starts the day after your symptoms. Frustrating I know I had a row with track and trace about it because there is this huge isolate for 10 days message when in reality its 11 days. I double checked the NHS website and it does say isolation ie day 1 starts the next day. Symptoms or positive lateral flow test are day 0.

On a positive note you are free from midnight on the 25th if that helps!

Thanks everyone.
So yes, turns out both myself and Track and Trace were wrong. I was free on 25th. This meant I couldn't go to family for Christmas as there are no trains on Christmas Day.
