Hi. But random but - I'm currently holed up in our spare room with covid 🙄. A nice Christmas isolation was not on my list! Anyway, we have just realised that all of my sons presents and families presents are in here too 😩. Will we have to quarantine them before giving, I've been coughing a fair bit? When would be best to give them out? Im sick of this virus - time it disappeared for good.

If you get the presents out of the room now, that is very nearly 48 hours.

I know that surfaces are not thought to cause as much transmission as was first thought, but if you are actually coughing on/near the presents, there will probably be a small risk, especially if handed over straight away from your room.

Yes, get them out of the room now. If you're concerned about your son getting covid, then things could be changed around and he happens them xmas day afternoon (to give max protection). Anyone, else just be honest and they can use their own judgement.
