For anyone that has tested positive and lost their taste and smell, how long was it before it came back?

Couple of weeks.

We've all had covid in the last couple weeks.

Dp only lost his smell and taste for 4 days. Suddenly went, suddenly come back. Nothing gradual about it. Just a total loss for 4
days.

My isolation ends tomorrow. I've been a bit different. Lost it more gradually a few days in, totally lost all senses for about 2 days. Since then it's gradually been coming back. I can smell some things close up and not others. Has to be close up too. Taste is coming back really slowly not entirely tasteless anymore. Hoping things will improve and I can fully taste my Christmas dinner. I also have a smoky smell and taste when sniffing or eating 😪

My kids didn't lost any of it. They haven't mention not being able to taste or smell.

@AD80 I am hoping mine will come back quickly too! I have been trying to search online for an average time and it’s all horror story’s!

I’m on day 3 and can’t bring myself to eat anything, not being able to taste and only feeling the texture is making me feel sick! Need to eat something though because I am breastfeeding my LO!
