How long your lft stayed positive after a positive pcr?

Hi all,
I’m on day 6 from positive pcr date (Thursday 16 December), even though started with mild symptoms on Sunday night, 19 December. Just headache and fatigue (still have them today). Due to the new rules I was supposed to finish my isolation on day 7 which is Friday 24 December.
Now, I did lft today and it was a very strong positive. The second line appeared even before the control line which I presume means I have an active virus in me and can’t finish my isolation on day 8. Do I test everyday now and if day 7&8 show negative I can end my isolation on day 9? What if I continue testing positive even past day 10 which is the last day of isolation based on the prior rules?
How long did you test positive on lft after having a positive pcr?

I had positive lft's for at least 9 days, tested day 11 and was negative. They did fade though after around day 5.

My understanding, is that you can be released ahead of the old 10 day isolation if you have a negative LFT two days in a row, so yes, if you test negative on day 7&8, you can be released on day 9. But after day 10, you can be released regardless of your LFT. But very happy to stand corrected if I've misunderstood. DD is also on day 6 today and also had a very strong positive this morning so I think she'll end up doing the full 10 days.

Dd (age 15 unvaccinated) was negative by day 5 or 6. DH (age 47 double vacinated) Had to extend his isolation due to on going fever not negative much before 14 days.

I never tested positive at all on LFT. I did one on the same day as my PCR, then one 5 days later. Both negative.

Delta - 11 days
Omicron - 5 days

Mike was still positive day 8 and negative on day 11
